A friend of mine drove Sumimi and I to to airport bright and early. I'm excited because I haven't seen any of my family for 2 years!
It's up to Sumimi to recognize my sister Tara and my Mom because I absolutely wouldn't be able to, There is a loooonnnng wait and I'm anxious , wondering if there is a problem. Finally after waiting for 1.5 hours, Sumimi announces that my mom and sister have arrived! Sumimi takes me to them and we all greet in tears.
We grab some lunch and head home so that the rest of the tribe can see "Nanee" that's what the kids call my mom.
The next few days are lovely with us catching up, eating, gardening, a salon visit, playing tourist in Stratford and visiting the garden centre, of course. My mom loves plants!
